There is a diverse variety of edible herbs native to Mexico, which are called kale and according to records, they have existed since pre-Hispanic times.

Throughout history, it has been known as a medicinal plant with multiple health benefits, but it is also little known outside its origin country, considered a bad weed in some places.

STEAMED KALE RECIPE

This recipe is easy to cook and delicious, as well as inexpensive. To prepare it, you will need the following ingredients:

1 kilogram or 35.2 Oz. of kale

1 white onion

1 garlic

1 jalapeño

Cooking oil

Salt

INSTRUCTIONS

First clean the kale very well and cut off the thicker stalks.

Chop the onion in a brunoise cut.

Chop the garlic finely.

Cut the jalapeño into slices.

Once you have all the ingredients ready, boil the oil in a pan and add first the onion and garlic together and cook them for 5 minutes.Then add jalapeño slices with the kale and cook them for another 5 minutes. For the last, add salt and you are ready to enjoy it.
